WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Scriptures - We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the Word of God, fully inspired and without error. We hold the Bible to be the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. It is our source of revelation of God, the knowledge of salvation, the origin of all things and of the hereafter. (Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12)
The Nature of God - We believe there is one loving and true God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), infinitely perfect and eternal in existence and equal in Glory, Majesty and Power. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19; Luke 3:21-22)
The Need for Salvation - We believe that all mankind needs to be delivered from the consequences of sin, and that salvation is in and through the Lord Jesus Christ only. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be God, manifest in the flesh as the very Son of God, “Completely God and Completely man”, and Creator of all things with the Father, and the appointed Judge of all men. (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:23; Colossians 1:12-20; Acts 17:31)
Our Savior - We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His death on behalf of lost humanity, His burial, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to Heaven, His High-Priestly ministry on our behalf, and His physical return to the earth. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:22-23; Luke 1:26-35; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 2:23-29)
The Holy Spirit - We acknowledge the blessed Holy Spirit as Comforter, the divine Agency of regeneration, the Revealer of Christ and His work on the cross, and the Distributor of gifts and graces upon the Church. (Genesis 1:2; Job 33:4; Mark 3:29; John 16:7-8,13; Acts 7:51; 13:2,4; 1 Corinthians 2:11; 6:11; Romans 8:5; Ephesians 4:30; 1 Peter 3:18; 2 Peter 1:21)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit - We believe in the baptism and indwelling of the Holy Spirit, with the Biblical evidences of speaking with other tongues, with the enduement of power to witness, with the accompanying gifts, graces, and fruit of the Spirit. (Joel 2:28; Romans 5:5; Acts 1:8; 2:4; 10:44-46a; 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 12:5-11; Galatians 5:22-25)
Divine Healing - We believe that divine healing is part of the great gift of salvation and is still in operation today. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Mark 16:16-19; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:13-16).
